Solid investigative work tracking Coal Australia's spending. The scale disparity is wild, $7M to astroturfing groups vs $4M to actual parties suggests a strategic shift towards manufacturing consent outside traditional political channels. What stood out to me is how transparent the Liberal Party connecions are with Australians for Prosperity, Falinski and Di Russo basically running a party operation with industry money. The ultimate failure despite massive spend is intersting though, might indicate diminishing returns on these tactics.
